Jameyfields
The absolute best part of photography for me is getting to watch life unfold. Creating time stamps of moments in peoples lives is a privilege and joy that just gets better with time. As a nurse practitioner I see so many stories and am privileged to be a part of patients and families lives during massive moments. The same is true during photography. No other family captures this more for me than the Jameyfield’s.

It all started with Tad and Claire.

They don’t know this but I’d only shot one wedding prior to theirs, and it was for a friend. I had some idea and some fun techniques but was really running on Sam Hurd blog posts and the Brenizer method.

But what a freaking blast. They were awesome, trusted my prompts, rolled with the punches, had beautiful flowers, gorgeous outdoor ceremony, partied like it was the last thing they would do and I couldn’t take a bad shot (although I did manage it somehow). During Tad + Claire’s wedding both brothers (pictured above victoriously holding up Tad) drunkenly declared I was the best photographer ever and there was no way anyone else was going to shoot their weddings. And so it was several years later Brandon + Caitlin reached out and the answer was so easy, absolutely yes.

Some few years later Emily + Evan reached out and flew me and my wife, our 14 month old, and a friend out to shoot an epic seaside wedding I had no business being a part of but what a joy.

And life continues. Brandon + Caitlin now have two little girls and I have had the privilege of capturing them as newborns or close too it.

I love this aspect of photography so much that I grandfather the prices from past years towards any photo shoots with repeat families. Because photography is an absolute privilege.
